This policy will give you a better understanding of what information and data we collect, how we collect it, and what we do with it. Our promise to you is to never sell your data to anyone for any reason, and that is one policy that we’ll never change :)
This policy applies to all products and services built for Snap Creative, LLC and can be printed for reference by using the print command menu in any browser settings.
What we collect
It's important that we note that our purpose is to collect only necessary information.
Identification
When you fill out a form or book an appointment on HeySnap.co, we ask for personal information such as your name, email address, and your company name. Depending on the form, we may ask for other information such as budget preferences, your phone number, general location, and your website URL (address). This information is used as an identifier to know you are who you say you are. It’s also used for the purpose of direct communication with you.
Billing information
When you pay for a Snap Creative, LLC for services, we ask for your credit/debit card or other banking information and billing address. That’s so we can charge you for service, calculate taxes due, and send you invoices. Any billing information provided is submitted by you unless otherwise agreed upon and sent directly through our payment processor system. We never see the transaction or any of the information provided. We store a record of the payment transaction, including the last 4 digits of the card number billing address. This information is used for account history, invoicing, and billing support. We store your billing address to calculate any sales tax due in the United States to provide information on fraudulent banking and card transactions and print on your invoices.
Analytics and what we actually see
We want to process as little personal information as possible when you use our website. That’s why we’ve chosen Fathom Analytics for our website analytics, which doesn’t use cookies and complies with the GDPR, ePrivacy (including PECR), COPPA, and CCPA. Using this privacy-friendly website analytics software, your IP address is only briefly processed, and we (running HeySnap.co) have no way of identifying you. As per the CCPA, your personal information is de-identified. You can read more about this on Fathom Analytics’ website.
The purpose of using this software is to understand our website traffic in the most privacy-friendly way possible so that we can continually improve our website and business. The lawful basis as per the GDPR is “f); where our legitimate interests are to improve our website and business continually.” In keeping with this policy, no personal data is stored over time.
Cookies and do not track
We do use persistent first-party cookies to store specific preferences, make it easier for you to use our applications, and support some in-house analytics. A cookie is a piece of text stored by your browser to help it remember your login information, site preferences, and more. You can adjust cookie retention settings in your own browser. HeySnap.co does not support “Do Not Track” requests.
To determine whether any of the third-party services it uses honor the “Do Not Track” requests, please read their privacy policies.
Voluntary correspondence
When you reach out to us with a question or ask for help, we keep that correspondence, including the email address, to have a history of past conversations for reference if you reach out in the future.
We also store any information you volunteer, like surveys. Sometimes when we do customer interviews, we may ask for your permission to record the conversation for future reference or use. We only do so if you give your express consent.
Data processing
We take appropriate measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of your data. In some cases, the data may be accessible by members of our team involved with the operation of HeySnap.co. This includes but is not limited to admins, sales, marketing, legal, and systems administrators, some of which are third-party service providers.
The information and data are available to the above parties are limited to the scope of the data and information we collect by the methods mentioned in the previous paragraphs of this document.

Saving and retaining data and information
All personal data will be stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for.
We will store personal data for the time it takes to complete the task the data has been collected for.
- Personal data collected for purposes related to a contract’s performance between you and Snap Creative, LLC will be securely kept until our contract has been entirely performed or canceled.
- Personal data collected for the purposes of Snap Creative, LLC’s legitimate interests shall be kept as long as needed to fulfill those specific purposes. You will find detailed information regarding our interests within the relevant sections of this document or directly contact us at privacy@heysnap.co.
We respectfully ask to retain personal data for an extended period whenever you have given consent, as long as consent is not withdrawn. Note: we may also be under obligation to retain personal data for a more extended period whenever required to do so for the performance of a legal obligation or upon order of an authority.
Once the retention period expires, Personal Data shall be deleted. Therefore, the right to access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification, and the right to data portability cannot be enforced after the retention period’s expiration.

Your data and information collected allow us to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, respond to enforcement requests, protect your rights and interests, detect any malicious or fraudulent activity such as commenting, displaying content from external platforms, contacting you directly geolocation, interaction with external social networks and platforms, managing contacts and sending messages, platform services and hosting and analytics.

Contacting you directly
Contact form (Calendly)
By filling in the Calendly form, you authorize us to use the details to reply to requests for information, quotes, or any other kind of request as shown by the form’s header.

Mailing list and newsletter (HeySnap.co)
By registering on the mailing list or for the newsletter, your email address will be added to our contact list for sending email messages containing information of commercial or promotional nature concerning HeySnap.co and services and products of HeySnap.co and the Snap Creative, LLC brand. Your email address might also be added to this list due to signing up on HeySnap.co or after making a purchase or signing a contractual agreement.

Content commenting
Content commenting services allow you to make and publish comments on the contents of HeySnap.co.
Depending on the settings we chose, you may also leave anonymous comments. If there is an email address among the personal data you provide, it may be used to send notifications of comments on the same content. You and you alone are responsible for the content of your own comments.
If a content commenting service provided by third parties is installed, it may still collect web traffic data for the pages where the comment service is installed, even when you do not use the content commenting service.

HeySnap.co has its own internal content comment system.

Automation and connection data
This type of service allows the HeySnap.co to connect Data with third-party services disclosed within this privacy policy.
This results in Data flowing through these services, potentially causing the retention of this data.

Zapier is a workflow automation service provided by Zapier, Inc. that automates data movement between (third-party) services.

Displaying content from external platforms
This type of service allows you to view content hosted on external platforms directly from the pages of HeySnap.co and interact with them.
This type of service might still collect web traffic data for the pages where the service is installed, even when Users do not use it.
YouTube video widget (Google Inc.)
YouTube is a video content visualization service provided by Google Inc. that allows HeySnap.co to incorporate video content-specific pages.

Adobe Fonts (Adobe Systems Incorporated)
Adobe Fonts is a typeface visualization service provided by Adobe Systems Incorporated that allows HeySnap.co to integrate custom font typefaces throughout the website.

Google Fonts (Google LLC)
Google Fonts is a typeface visualization service provided by Google LLC that allows HeySnap.co to integrate custom font typefaces throughout the website.

Font Awesome (Fonticons, Inc. )
Font Awesome is a typeface visualization service provided by Fonticons, Inc. that allows HeySnap.co to integrate font-based icons throughout the website.

Interaction with external social networks and platforms
This type of service allows interaction with social networks or other external platforms directly from the pages of HeySnap.co.
The interaction and information obtained through HeySnap.co are always subject to the User’s privacy settings for each social network.
This type of service might still collect traffic data for the pages where the service is installed, even when Users do not use it.
It is recommended to log out from the respective services to ensure that the processed data on HeySnap.co isn’t being connected back to the User’s profile.
Twitter Tweet button and social widgets (Twitter)
The Twitter Tweet button and social widgets allow interaction with the Twitter social network provided by Twitter Inc.

Managing contacts and sending messages
This type of service makes it possible to manage a database of email contacts, phone contacts, or other contact information to communicate with the User.
These services may also collect data concerning the date and time when the message was viewed by the User and when the User interacted with it, such as by clicking on links included in the message.

Mailchimp is an email address management and message sending service provided by The Rocket Science Group LLC.

Platform services and hosting
These services have the purpose of hosting and running key components of HeySnap.co, allowing delivery of HeySnap.co from within a unified platform. These platforms provide a wide range of tools to Snap Creative, LLC – e.g., analytics, user registration, commenting, database management, e-commerce, payment processing – that imply collecting and handling personal data.
Some of these services work through geographically distributed servers, of which we cannot control the actual location where the personal data are stored.
Webflow (Webflow, Inc.)
Webflow is a platform provided by Webflow, Inc. that allows us to build, run and host HeySnap.co. Webflow is highly customizable and can host websites from simple blogs to complex e-commerce platforms.
We are a Webflow Expert partner with Webflow, Inc.
Personal Data processed: various types of Data as specified in the privacy policy of the service.
Place of processing: United States – Privacy Policy – Opt-out.
Hacking and spam protection
This type of service analyzes the traffic of HeySnap.co, potentially containing Users’ Personal Data, to filter it from parts of traffic, messages, and content that are recognized as SPAM.
Google reCAPTCHA (Google LLC)
Google reCAPTCHA is a SPAM protection service provided by Google LLC.
The use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google privacy policy and terms of use.

When we access or share your information
We don’t make a habit of sharing your information. The only times we’ll ever access or share your info are:
To provide products or services you’ve requested. We use some third-party services to run our website and applications and only to the extent necessary to process some or all of your personal information via these third parties. The tools we use are listed above in the section “Specific services and purposes used to process your data” above.
To help you troubleshoot or squash a bug in our own software or software from third-party tools we use, with your permission. If at any point, we need to access your account to help you with a Support case, we will ask for your consent before proceeding.
When required under applicable law.
- If Snap Creative, LLC receives a request to preserve data, we refuse unless compelled by either the US Federal Stored Communications Act, 18 USC. Section 2703(f) or a properly served US subpoena for civil matters. In both of these situations, we have to comply. In these situations, we notify affected customers as soon as possible unless we are legally prohibited from doing so. We do not share preserved data unless absolutely required under the Stored Communications Act or compelled by a court order that we choose not to appeal. Furthermore, unless we receive a proper warrant, court order, or subpoena before the required preservation period expires, we destroy any preserved copies we made of customer data once the preservation period lapses.
- If we get an informal request from any person, organization, or entity, we do not assist.
- If we are audited by a tax authority, we may be required to share billing-related information. If that happens, we only share the bare minimum needed, such as billing addresses and tax exemption information and you will be informed if such even occurs.
And finally, in the improbable event Snap Creative, LLC is acquired by or merged with another company — you will be notified before any piece of information or data we’ve retained is transferred and/or becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

However, exercising certain rights (such as the right “to be forgotten”) may prevent you from using our Services.

Where personal data is processed for a public interest or for the purposes of the legitimate interests we choose to pursue, you may object to such processing by providing grounds for your particular situation to justify the objection.
